RDF Implementation

Our AvaGuide development plans also include implementing the RDF technology.
The future of the Internet, which is gradually becoming a reality, is the Web 3.0 - the third generation of world wide web. It is often called the semantic web, because one of it's main features is that it takes the meaning of terms into consideration, in contrast to operating only with names.
And this is where RDF comes into play. RDF (Resource Description Framework) is a model of data, named by the W3C organization. It was proposed as a base for the semantic web. The knowledge that RDF has to describe is not only a set of data, but a set of data with relations between data elements.

More info about RDF itself and the level of its implementation in AvaGuide.net will be soon available in our manuals section.
